GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

    This person would be an ambassador of Woodloch and is an experienced position. As an ambassador this person needs to be a good communicator and know the Woodloch History, Company Philosophies, 10 Commandments of Hospitality and our Mission Statement. They need to instill our ideals and standards and promote a positive attitude. This person needs to know and uphold our policies. This person needs to know our benefit package and other perks we offer our staff. As a Recruiting Coordinator this person needs to know all aspects of the many jobs we offer and what we are looking for in an individual to fill these positions. At times this position may provide administrative support to other Human Resource staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Advertising – Determine needs and place ads (Paper, Radio etc.)
  • Job Boards – Responsible to maintain company listings on employment websites both internal and external.
  • Marketing – Responsible to keep our Social Media up to date and be creative with new ideas on recruiting and onboarding new Team Members.
  • Responds to requests for information on job openings and sends applications.
  • Job Fairs – Attend job fairs, career days at the High Schools, Colleges and other different organizations. Overnights are possible for some job fairs.
  • Open Houses – Recruiting events in house with High Schools, Colleges & Community
  • Have a presence at schools and colleges. Interview on site and keep schools updated with job postings.
  • Host school trips and functions at Woodloch (business, food service groups).
  • Proactive with the high schools for Job Shadowing, Mentoring and Mock Interview programs.
  • Determine Department needs
  • Application process – Process applications for employment. Maintains Applicant Tracking System.
  • Reference checking
  • Screening Interviews (phone & face to face)
  • Co-ordinate with Dept Heads for second interviews.
  • Orientation/Onboarding – Responsible for coordinating onboarding of all necessary paperwork, tours and trainings.
  • Co-ordinate start dates for new hires.
  • Assist with specific department training (departmental policies, food safe etc.)
  • Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Directs employee questions to appropriate person.
  • Communicate with Recruiting Assistant
  • Performs any other tasks assigned by management.

  • Experience— To successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job, the employee should have, a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
