Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

• Regular/timely attendance for schedule shifts.
• Help ensure proper, safe, and efficient operation of the facility.
• Enforcement of hotel procedures and policies as relates to Engineering Department.
• Perform weekly inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back of house.
• Help maintain guest rooms and hallways to stay consistent with standard of excellence.
• Assist development of preventative maintenance programs for all areas of the hotel.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all management and hourly staff.
• Address all areas of concern as rapidly as possible.

Experience/Skills Needed:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and occasionally 100 lbs.
• Enthusiastic person that demonstrates professionalism.
• Possess the ability to train and empower staff.
• Must be detail oriented, constructively critical, and possess strong organizational skills.
• Excellent personal appearance, good listening and communication skills, and a friendly, congenial personality.

Schedule:

• Must be willing to work morning or evening any day of the week and Holidays
• Must ensure that all shifts are covered as it is the lead’s responsibility to find coverage or work a double shift is necessary.
