GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for cleaning and servicing all guest rooms in an assigned section, as well as guest landings, hallways, etc. Assists other room attendants. Ensures the highest level of comfort and safety for our guests. Upholds all standards to the best of the employee’s ability. Train and retrain all employees assigned by a supervisor or manager. Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and standards are being upheld.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regular and timely attendance for scheduled shifts.
  • Dress in correct uniform and follow the appearance standards set forth in the employee handbook and in the Housekeeping Manual.
  • Follow correct payroll and key sign in/out procedures.
  • Familiarity with all applicable policies and procedures set forth by The Lodge at Woodloch.
  • Familiarity with all hotel emergency and safety procedures.
  • Report any discrepancies in room status to Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager.
  • Report any damages or maintenance problems to Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager.
  • Report to assigned section and clean guest rooms in order of priority, as determined by Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager.
  • Clean guest rooms in order of priority, as determined by Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager.
  • Report any items requiring a work order to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Report and turn in all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager.
  • Assist in keeping the linen closets neat and clean.
  • Stock cart at the close of each shift and return to the storeroom.
  • Friendly, helpful, and courteous with all hotel guests and refer to them by name whenever possible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or Rooms Manager.
  • Stock linen carts and closets as needed.
  • Train and retrain any employees assigned by management in accordance to The Lodge at Woodloch Standards.
  • Inspect rooms and address all concerns in a timely manner, follow up with management
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School, GED, or trade school education. 2 years housekeeping experience preferred.
