GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The general purpose of the job is to keep the appearance of Woodloch Pines and Woodloch Springs properties up to Woodloch standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Garbage clean up
- Leaf clean up
- Mowing
- Pruning
- Mulching
- Raking
- Landscaping installation
- Machine maintenance
- Putting up and taking down of fencing
- Clean up after storms
- Tree work
- Seeding and reseeding
- Fertilizing & treflan
- Planting & replacements
- Drainage & curbs
- Spraying
- Cleaning gutters
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
This position requires a valid drivers license to perform the essential functions.

The employee must be able to lift or exert force more than 100 pounds to be able to carry weed eaters, lift bags of fertilizer and other functions of this job.
It is also helpful if the employee meets the following vision requirements; close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), and depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships). This job requires a lot of manual labor.
