GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB - To maintain a high quality standard of cleanliness and provide courteous service to the guest.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Straighten /clean assigned number of rooms, houses, public areas and staff areas according to specifications provided during training. This includes, cleaning kitchens, empty the garbage, changing beds as necessary or remaking beds, clean toilet, tub & sinks, wash bathroom/kitchen floors replace towels, dust and vacuum room, replace supplies, such as soap, tissues, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and coffee. Maintain utility stock carts/vans for next day and order needed supplies from the laundry.
Within assigned section change linens in all used bedrooms. When guests leave, clean rooms/houses assigned to you by your Section Leader. Cleaning includes those tasks done on a make-up day, but also clean inside all drawers & closets, wash garbage cans, pictures, moldings, doors, replace laundry bags, hangers, room folders and candy. When all rooms are cleaned in your section, the section leader will check with housekeeping office and assign you to another section, if necessary. Maintain utility, stack carts/vans and order supplies. Section Leaders will call the housekeeping office for additional assignments.
